Management Development Plus (MDP) assists health, education and human service organizations enhance their services in cost effective ways that improve employee productivity and consumer satisfaction. We design and implement customized technical assistance and training that specifically meets the identified desired outcomes. Among the services we provide to achieve these outcomes are the following:

Management Training

  • We help managers enhance the skills necessary to accomplish the organization's goals. We specialize in helping middle and first time managers develop the leadership and interpersonal skills that are necessary to get the work done. Our training includes "hands on" individual sessions as well as group training.
  • We provide managers with techniques that result in a less stressful work environment for themselves and for their workers.
  • We collaborate with organizations to develop an internal ongoing management training program. We develop a tract for current managers and a tract for employees who are identified as having the potential for future promotion to a management position within the organization.

Program Development

  • We identify program strengths and areas for improvement. We then provide customized technical assistance that builds on the strengths to address the areas for improvement.
  • We design and develop new program initiatives that meet emerging organization and consumer needs; we identify potential funding sources and write proposals to obtain funding.
  • We development program operational procedure manuals that ensure consistency of high quality services.
  • We help organizations prepare for program surveys by government agencies and foundations.
